In support of Ministry of Education Malaysia (MOE)’s initiatives and MDEC #mydigital-maker movement, 5T3M and UTM i-League are collaborating to create a distinguished and simulating robotics competition.
Robothon is a thematic challenge competition platform for students to explore real-world issues of today, with creative solutions. NROC is an annual national event that sprouts from individual schools, to respective states or regions, before extending its reach to the national level NROC. The winning teams of NROC will then get a chance to participate in the International Robothon (https://robothon.asia/).
As engineers and scientists seek to address rising problems by promoting cutting-edge robotic technology to enhance the lives of humans, it has been a long-standing vision of robotics, artificial intelligence, and cognitive sciences to achieve the first step of creating robots that can accomplish a multitude of different tasks, triggered by environmental context or higher level instruction – a great challenge for machine learning.
Space Colonization (also called space settlement or extraterrestrial colonization) is the hypothetical permanent settlement and exploitation of natural resources at celestial objects other than Earth. As such it is a form of human presence in space, beyond human spaceflight and operating space outposts. Building colonies in space or in other planets would require a combination of many factors, including access to space, food, construction materials, energy, transportation, communications, life support, and others.
