As engineers and scientists seek to address rising problems by promoting cutting-edge  robotic technology to enhance the lives of humans, it has been a long-standing vision of robotics,  artificial intelligence and cognitive sciences to achieve the first step of creating robots that  can accomplish a multitude of different tasks, triggered by environmental context or  higher level instruction – a great challenge for machine learning.

ROBOTHON is a thematic challenge competition platform for students to explore these real-world issues of today, with creative solutions. This annual event is usually organised at state, regional, national and international levels.
